Well...on a whim, we decided to check out Wee Man's Chronic Taco's down in Redondo Beach. If you don't know who Wee Man is...just take a look into the early 2000's..MTV's Jackass (as well as plenty of other underground skate videos, concerts, sideshows...ask the googles if you don't know who Wee Man is), one of my favorite unlockable skaters on Tony Hawk Skater games.
I'll post up some pics of the food and atmosphere..it was a fun trip all in all. Rock music, about 6 tv's going with all things sports/comedy. they even had Married with Children running, which happens to be one of my faves.
Mari had the Cheese Quesadilla, which she enjoyed. Huge, cooked to a slight crisp with gooey cheese in the middle..to be honest..I wish I went with that. She also scored a cookie.
I had the carne asada burrito. Huge in portion, refried beans, black beans, steak, salsa, lettuce, cheese. I wish i would have put some sour cream perhaps, which I felt it was lacking. But anyhow..it's good grub. If ya drink there is beer available, and plenty of visual stimulation.
And plenty of pictures of Wee Man plastered all over the place.

I have to say I agree w/ a yelp review... "this is the perfect example of Meh Food"..it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The whole thing ran me 12 bucks, and I'd prolly opt for chipolte or Pachanga, but this isn't to say it's not worth another visit if I was in the area, or with someone who wanted to go. Good times going down in Redondo..
oh...there was friendly staff..a little slow and "jaded", but I guess it add's to the character of the place. It was worth it to hear this woman who had to be about 45-50 saying she loved the jackass show.

Definite props to Mr Wee Man for putting his popularity somewhere constructive..lol. He's serving up cows and chickens while Steve-o from jackass is on the Peta trip...lol
